Help! Could someone help me figure out what kind of welding this is?

As the title says, could some expert help identify what type of welding this is? The 6mm carbon steel was welded through completely, with the weld bead being only about 3mm wide; the only drawback is that there are notches at both ends of the weld bead. Does any buddy know?
Judging from the weld formation, it seems to be gas shielded welding
