What should be added so that the screw belt of a horizontal mixer can reach the lower areas while it is in operation?
Firstly, it’s not possible to scrape to the bottom; one has to wonder whether scraping is possible at the top. If the cylinder is round, some areas can be scraped while others cannot – in that case, the cylinder is not perfectly round, and there’s little that can be done about it. If scraping isn’t possible in any area, a scraper can be added to the screw belt; it’s best if it’s adjustable automatically. Otherwise, machine processing will be required, and this also depends on the degree of roundness of the cylinder
