Are there any manufacturing plants that use acetylene for cutting steel plates, with the acetylene stored in tanks rather than gas cylinders?
It cannot be stored in gas cylinders, as acetylene cylinders contain porous diatomite, and high-purity propane is used inside such cylinders to dissolve acetylene. However, factories that require large amounts of gas do use gas cabinets, but they must have numerous safety measures in place
