An incline belt conveyor is short for a conveyor that can transport materials uphill; it is a type of belt conveyor. The incline belt conveyor uses the continuous or intermittent movement of the conveyor belt to transport items weighing up to 500 kg, as well as powdered or granular materials. The incline belt conveyor is used in situations where the conveying surface has unevenities; it enables continuous transportation and can be seamlessly connected to roller conveyors or chain plate conveyors. The materials used for conveyor belts in incline belt conveyors include: canvas belts (or nylon belts), plastic belts, anti-static PVC belts, food-grade PU belts, patterned conveyor belts, rubber belts (rubber belts with steel wires are used for transporting heavy objects), and metal mesh belts, among others. Among these, PVC conveyor belts and patterned conveyor belts are used more frequently, while PU conveyor belts are more common for transporting food. From the perspective of conveying materials, the inclination angle of a belt conveyor should not exceed 13 degrees; if it does exceed 13 degrees, guards should be added to the surface of the belt, or a belt with textured surface should be used. When manufacturing incline belt conveyors, guardrails are usually added on both sides of the conveyor, or skirts are installed along the sides of the belt, in order to prevent objects from falling during transportation. The drive methods for incline belt conveyors include the motor and reducer drive method and the electric drum drive method. The conveyor belt of mobile conveyors is used for transporting, loading/unloading, stacking, and transferring bulk or packaged grains as well as small particle materials; it can be operated with multiple units connected in series or in combination with other machinery. It can be used in outdoor warehouses and other such locations.
