Generally, for the last weld seam on stainless steel pipes, flux-cored welding wires are used; when welding stainless steel pipes with flux-coated welding wires without argon shielding, will the weld seam rust?
The coating on coating-wired electrodes releases inert gases during melting to protect the weld, following the same principle as electrodes; as a result, slag is not formed under normal conditions. An appropriate welding current must be selected.
The key issue is argon protection on the back side, which cannot be achieved with flux-cored wires
