A roller conveyor, also known as a roller belt conveyor, is a widely used continuous transportation device. In industrially developed countries, there are dozens of different structural designs and specifications for roller conveyors, which have been standardized to meet the requirements of various industries. In recent years, a large number of various production lines and assembly lines using roller conveyors have emerged in China, demonstrating the superiority of roller conveyors in organizing flow-based production lines and attracting considerable attention. The stacked roller conveyor possesses the characteristics of conventional roller conveyors; it can transport items with flat bottoms, such as sheets, bars, tubes, profiles, pallets, box-shaped containers, and various workpieces, along a horizontal direction or at a slight inclination. For non-flat and flexible items, conveying can be achieved using pallets. Compared with other conveyors used for transporting finished products, in addition to features such as simple structure, reliable operation, easy maintenance, cost-effectiveness, and energy savings, its most notable advantage is its ability to integrate well with the production process. It also offers functional diversity, which is reflected in the following aspects: 1. Stacker conveyor belts can be arranged flexibly; they are easy to segment and connect. Depending on requirements, straight, curved, horizontal, inclined, branching, or merging sections, along with various auxiliary devices, can be used to create conveyor routes in various forms such as open, closed, flat, or three-dimensional. 2. The stacked drum conveyor has a variety of functions; it can lift, move, and turn items during transportation. With the help of auxiliary devices, it is possible to move items at right angles, in parallel, or up and down, either along the supports of the drum conveyor or between the drum conveyor and other conveyors. 3. The stacked drum conveyor is easy to integrate with process equipment, with simple and compact connection methods; sometimes it can even serve as the input and output point for materials in process equipment. The space between the rollers provides a convenient location for installing various devices and equipment. 4. The stackable roller conveyor ensures smooth transportation of items, facilitating various processing operations such as machining, assembly, testing, sorting, packaging, and storage during transportation, as well as enabling automatic control over the conveying process. 5. The connection dimensions between the two stacked roller conveyors are small, allowing them to transport items of smaller size. 6. Two or several rows of stacked roller conveyors can be arranged side by side to form a wide roller conveyor for transporting large items. 7. Stackable roller conveyors allow the transportation of hot items. 8. Roller conveyors feature a high degree of standardization, serialization, and versatility; they can be easily assembled to form various production lines, and no special civil engineering foundations are required. The application scope of stacker drum conveyors: With their simple structure, reliable operation, low maintenance requirements, and flexibility in layout, stacker drum conveyors offer significant advantages when transporting individual items. As a result, they are widely used in various assembly, machining, and casting production lines within the automotive industry, as well as in production lines in other machinery manufacturing sectors, the food and beverage industry, home appliance manufacturing, and the postal and telecommunications industries.
