Companies should plan ahead, take a strategic perspective to assess the situation and make appropriate arrangements, and consistently promote the deep integration of AI with their business operations. In this way, they can create factories that are safe, efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable, thereby leading the industry’s development on a global scale. Focusing on technological breakthroughs and system construction, experts provided precise recommendations from specific fields. **Wang Jun, a member of the Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee and deputy dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, believes that intelligent inspection is a key enabling technology for establishing a closed-loop system for quality data and facilitating precise optimization of production processes. Given the need for high-quality manufacturing of new aviation equipment as well as rapid development and mass production of such systems, there is an urgent need for the industry to accelerate the development of intelligent inspection equipment for aerospace applications, as well as industrial software for intelligent inspection and analysis, in order to enhance its supporting capabilities. Fan Yepeng, general manager of Huazhong CNC (Shandong) Company, believes that the CNC system is the “brain” of CNC machines, determining the functions, performance, and reliability of such equipment. Currently, domestic high-end CNC systems are making the transition from analog and pulse-based systems to fully digital, bus-based systems. In the future, with the application of artificial intelligence technology, CNC machines will accelerate their evolution from the “digital generation” to the “intelligent generation”. At the level of system construction, experts have reached a multidimensional consensus. **Yang Yang, a member of the Expert Committee for Intelligent Manufacturing and chairman of Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., said that the new generation of artificial intelligence technologies has become a core production factor in the manufacturing industry, and during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, efforts should be accelerated to establish an intelligent manufacturing system featuring a closed loop of \"sensing–decision-making–execution\". **Zhu Kaizhen, a member of the Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee and chief expert at China National Machinery Industry Corporation, proposed that future smart factories should establish an intelligent optimization loop based on \"data-driven approaches combined with industrial expertise\", in order to achieve rapid sensing, agile response, dynamic optimization, and overall intelligent coordination. Next, the Equipment Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will focus on the practical need to create an \"upgraded version\" of intelligent manufacturing, further strengthen strategic guidance in this area, enhance decision-making support, and improve services for the industry, so as to work together to take intelligent manufacturing to a new level and usher in a new era during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
