7/16-20 x 1.75 – Could any fellow sailor please explain in detail what these bolt specifications mean? Can it be told whether it’s imperial, US standard, or something else?
60 degrees in metric system, 55 degrees in imperial system; not commonly used in the US system. If it cannot be observed, a thread gauge can be used for checking; thread gauges are quite inexpensive, and I hope this will help you.
