The circular tube belt conveyor is a product that was first developed in 1978 by the Japanese company JPC Japan Pipe Conveyor, and a patent was obtained for it in 32 countries. This patented technology was transferred to 12 **manufacturers through patent licensing. In 1988, JPC was merged into Bridgestone, and in 2009 it was renamed Bridgestone EMK. Companies such as Mitsubishi and Tokai in Japan, as well as PWH-Continental and Conrad Scholtz GmbH in Germany, have all developed this product. By introducing Bridgestone’s technology and collaborating with foreign companies such as Koch and CDI, several enterprises in our country have developed and produced circular tube belt conveyors. Standard specifications for mechanical industries related to these conveyors have been established, as well as standards for the chemical industry regarding tubular conveyor belts. A number of world-class circular tube belt conveyor systems have been successfully developed and applied. Table 3 presents engineering examples of circular tube belt conveyors at home and abroad. In recent years, the manufacturing and application of tubular belt conveyors in our country have seen significant progress in terms of both quantity and scale of projects; the maximum length of conveyors without intermediate drives has reached 8,231 m, while those with intermediate drives reach 14,970 m.
