Our company currently has two large concrete wastewater tanks that need to be coated with an FRP anti-corrosion layer. However, we have not been able to find an effective solution for detecting pinholes. Do any of you have any recommendations for brands of equipment, or know where such equipment can be purchased? I have done it before; it is possible to generate electric sparks, and the equipment is imported from abroad.
The testing I do here also uses electric sparks, but it’s merely a formality; since the boss is eager to start production, the project managers carry out this process just as a formality as well. There are no proper standards for anti-corrosion treatment of such floor surfaces

According to NACE’s exclusive information, it is hardly practiced in China. Foreign ones are more rigorous. Or, domestically, a conductive layer is first created on the inner layer, and then electrical spark processing is carried out.
The method for detecting pinholes involves placing a conductor between the protective layer and the ground, and then using an external current device to conduct a test; if there is any abnormality, sparks will be generated.
