The inside of the newly purchased pipe is rusted

A new batch of pipes was purchased on-site, and both the inside and outside of these pipes are rusted. I would like to ask whether this is a normal phenomenon Are all newly purchased pipes shipped with rust on them? Was it already like this before leaving the factory? Can I return it on the grounds of severe rust?
Whether a return is possible depends on the terms of the contract you signed initially. If the product rusts right after purchase, it indicates that their quality control is inadequate... In such cases, it might even be necessary to remove the rust and repaint it
It’s severely rusted; it can definitely be returned. If there are technical specifications for the supply of pipes, you can check the relevant standards for details. If it does not meet the standard requirements, returns or exchanges can be made on the basis of those standards.
Ordinary steel pipes usually have slight rust, with a thin layer of powder on their surface. If it is severely rusted, it is either stock goods or was not stored properly. Whether a refund is possible and what the reason for it would be depends on the terms of your contract.
Ordinary carbon steel pipes usually have rust; as long as it’s not severe, there’s no problem.
First: check the degree of rusting, the proportion of the area affected by rusting, the depth of rusting, and so on； Second: What is the pipeline you purchase used for? Is this level of rusting acceptable? ； Third: Check how your contract was signed. Based on the above analysis, if all the requirements for use are met, it can be used; you may consult regarding appropriate compensation ； If the above do not meet the usage requirements, then a replacement must be requested.
Before welding pipes, sandblasting or shot blasting is performed to remove rust; once the surface meets the required standard, a primer is applied before the pipes are handed over to the installation team. After installation, once the welds have been inspected and found to be satisfactory, the surface of the welds is rust-removed, any damaged areas on the pipe surface are repaired, a primer is applied, and finally a topcoat is applied uniformly.
It’s possible that proper moisture protection wasn’t ensured during storage and transportation; the presence of slight rust is normal. However, for pipes that generally require painting, a primer can be applied before shipment
There is an excess inventory of such tubes, or they are not stored properly. Generally, the inside and outside of new pipes have only a slight oxide layer.
