How are the finned tubes of air coolers generally inspected? Both sections of the tube bank are welded, so using internal eddy currents is not feasible.
What do you mean by checking? Is there any leakage in the tube bundle?
Welded type, there are also plug valves that can be removed~~~~~~~~~ Using an endoscope.
If there is a plug, use an endoscope and far-field eddy currents.
Our unit originally had an air-cooling leak; even with the insertion eddy current test, it couldn’t be detected – only a pressure test worked
The perforated eddy current wasn’t created? What material?
