What metal material is suitable for calcium chloride cold brine pipelines?
Under normal circumstances, Q235B is more commonly used; it has a certain degree of corrosion resistance, and its typical service life is only 3 years. It should be noted that stainless steel is not a good choice.
Carbon steel is generally suitable for use. If the temperature is not high, such as below 50 degrees, pipes made of materials like polyethylene or polypropylene can also be considered, and they perform well as well.
