What is the pH value of desalinated water? What is the conductivity? Normally, desalinated water is neutral; however, due to the inevitable inclusion of air, its pH is usually slightly acidic.
It is mainly caused by cavitation, but it is also necessary to monitor all the quality parameters of the deionized water.
It is either corrosion with holes in the blades or cavitation; it is likely that the deeper degree of corrosion has caused some of the tissue to be eroded away. The most noticeable effect of cavitation is damage concentrated at the inlet area of the blades, involving large-scale destruction. Damage characterized by several small holes in localized areas should not be caused by cavitation.
