The water tank is leaking; please help determine what material is needed

It’s a small-scale operation: a hot water tank for bathing, with a base area of 45 m2 and a height of 2.5 meters. Due to a thin layer of scale on the bottom, it’s impossible to locate the source of the leak. Because on the ground, sealing the leaks can only be done from the inside. All the welds were rewelded, but it’s still leaking. The water tank operates at a temperature of 95°C, at atmospheric pressure, using tap water. I plan to cover the bottom with plastic film; I originally thought of using PTFE film, but it’s not cheap either. Please help discuss what kind of plastic or method to use. Cheaper.

First, try to locate the source of the leak; the water tank should be made of 304 material, and it should be an expansion-type tank. If there is a leak at the bottom, since the bottom surface is flat and welded to the steel structure at the bottom of the tank, the leak is usually located at the welds or where the metal has been fully welded to the structural elements at the bottom. It is recommended to first check for areas with yellow rust on the bottom; rust typically appears in places where there are leaks.
