May I ask what material should be used for 12wt% sodium chloride brine?
When the temperature is not high, carbon steel with an anti-corrosion coating can be used, which offers good economic benefits.
Are there any recommended pure metal materials?

This post was last edited by Wang Wei2 on 2022-10-23 at 13:53. Relatively speaking, the duplex stainless steel 2205 alloy has good resistance to sodium chloride; however, it’s important to note that it still has a tendency toward pitting corrosion. Be especially cautious in acidic media.
There’s no information regarding pH, temperature, or whether there are any other corrosive substances present. For clean brine at this concentration alone, ordinary carbon steel pipes can generally be used for about six months to a year
