Thermodynamic methods for solid-liquid systems in PROII

I’m seeking advice from experts: for an aqueous solution containing large amounts of calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate, which is a solid-liquid mixture, what thermodynamic model should be used in PROII?

You can use the third-party software OLI Chemistry Wizard that comes with PROii to create such salt packs – just add three components to it; include whatever components you need. I would like to ask if it’s included with “OLI Chemistry Wizard” proii 9.4? How come I can’t find it?
It’s included by default; the installation does not come with this OLI. You can find it in your installation files, in the \files\Third Party Software\OLI folder – there’s just one file there, and you need to install that one.
Shouldn’t electrolytes just be solutions? Is a solid-liquid mixture okay too?
Of course. Solid-liquid separation is one of the major issues that electrolyte packs need to address; things like crystallization – at what temperature it occurs and what its composition is – are extremely important. It’s no exaggeration to say that if an electrolyte pack cannot handle the problem of crystallization, then it can’t be called an electrolyte pack.

Following your instructions, I installed the OLI files and created the electrolyte package; however, when I tried to add it to PROII, the problem shown in the image occurred. The OLI files I installed are for PROII9 – they were included with it. Could someone please advise me on how to resolve this issue?

But before that, you need to use the Chemistry Wizard software to create a salt package first – you have to do it yourself! ! After OLI is installed, the Chemistry Wizard software can be found in the Start menu under the name “OLI Systems”; it is a separate program from SimSic. Once that is set up, start proii, go back to the previous screen, and select the salt package you need.
But my PROII9.4 doesn’t have “USER-ADDED MODELS 7.08 .0” – does it need to be installed separately, or is it available once PROII is installed? I checked both the legitimate and pirated versions of PROII9.4, and it’s not there in either case; I’m seeking advice from experts.
