Product background: At the current stage of detailed factory design, engineering design firms spend a great deal of time using traditional methods for creating drawings. It is difficult to handle annotations and overlays, and it’s hard for ordinary designers to use the Draft module to produce drawings; as a result, the design concepts cannot be accurately reflected in the drawings, leading to inaccuracies in the plan views. Functions and features: The AD drawing software is developed based on PDMS/E3D and the Draft module; its programming language is based on PML and C++ environments. It enables quick and easy creation of drawings using the Design module. The software handles each annotation in a model with great care, resulting in extremely high drawing efficiency and ensuring that each diagram can be generated rapidly. 2.1 One-click switching between Chinese and English – The software allows for one-click switching to the English interface, facilitating use by software users both at home and abroad and meeting the requirements for generating drawings for projects overseas. 2.2 Open drawing style options – New drawing styles have been added to make the software more user-friendly; the available drawing styles can be defined, and dimension annotations can be added to the drawings in a specified order. 2.3 Efficient one-click generation of layout plans: AD can directly generate pipe layout diagrams, pipe outlet location diagrams, instrument condition diagrams, and hole condition diagrams, which can be saved in DXF format.
