Hello everyone, I’ve only been learning *PDMS for a short time. When setting up the equipment, I’m not sure how to add the nozzles on the tank heads Seeking guidance. . . Thank you
Check the tutorial; this is basic operation.
I searched through several online tutorials, but none provided specific instructions. It seems that the steps should be: MOVE > Clearance > Positioning method: Onto; Selection method: ID Cursor. Then select the elliptical head – but that doesn’t work either. Should I use Rotate instead?
In P3D, right-click to add nozzles, then switch to top view to add them to the upper head
It’s a problem with nozzle positioning, right? position->move->though; the E(N) direction is the same as that used for head positioning. After using IDCursor and Apply, click on the head and then adjust the positioning in the vertical direction. The head is below the nozzle; use position->move->clearance. Below D is the head; after using IDCursor and Apply, click on the head
Why, when I adjust the height – clearance, D, Unto – the nozzle still doesn’t fit against the surface of the head. Is there something that hasn’t been set correctly?
Make the nozzle longer and insert it straight in
Aren’t you seeing the nozzle right in the center? The software is correct; with that method, the nozzle’s position is determined by the outer contour of the elliptical head, that is, its highest point. For a nozzle inserted at an angle like yours, calculate accordingly and adjust its position downward, or you can also increase the height of the nozzle
