For those who are familiar with HaoChen CAD, they surely know that it has a function for equal division by a fixed value. By equal division by a fixed value, it means dividing an object into equally spaced point objects or blocks based on its length or perimeter. This operation does not involve splitting the object; rather, it involves adding one or more points to the object. For example, when dividing a straight line into 8 equal parts, it does not mean splitting the line itself, but rather adding 8 points to that line. Next, I’ll give you all a detailed introduction to the function of equal spacing division in CAD basics! Introduction to the equal division by a constant value function in CAD: 1. Equal division by a constant value does not involve splitting objects; rather, based on the user’s settings, one or more objects are added to the object ; 2. If block objects rather than points are needed to perform equal division of constants, a block object must be created in advance ; 3. If choosing to divide a constant value into equal parts in blocks, it is also necessary to set the angle at which the blocks are placed; you can decide whether the blocks should be aligned with the object. If alignment is selected, the blocks will rotate around their point of insertion ; If alignment is not selected, the block will be inserted at a 0-degree rotation angle. How to enable the equal division function in CAD: 1. Enter the shortcut command DIVIDE in the command line, then press Enter ; 2. In the menu bar, find and click on 【Drawing】, select 【Point】 from the dropdown list, and then choose 【Equal Division】 in the dialog box that appears on the right. As shown in the figure below: How to use the equal division by a constant value function in CAD: After activating the command for equal division by a constant value, select the object that is to be divided according to the prompts on the command line, then press Enter to confirm ; If the object to be divided equally is a line, the command line will prompt you to enter the number of segments or [Block (B)]. If you choose to enter the B command, you need to specify a block to replace the points and thus achieve equal division of the object. The above is an introduction to the constant equal division function in the Haochen CAD drawing software; I hope it can be helpful to those who are currently learning CAD basics~
