The methanol market in Henan region is operating in a volatile manner, with moderate trading activity. Operators are becoming more cautious, and some companies are discussing prices around 2100–2130 yuan per ton. It is also reported that traders in Luoyang are quoting around 2,070 yuan per ton. In some areas of the Shanxi region, the methanol market is seeing price declines, with the prevailing price ranging from 1,950 to 2,000 yuan per ton. The price of Jincheng’s mainstream product has dropped by 20 yuan, to 1,980–2,000 yuan per ton, as local companies face difficulties in selling their products ； The price of Linfen mainstream product has dropped by 30-40 yuan, to 1950-1970 yuan per ton ； The price in Yuncheng has dropped by 50 yuan, hovering around 1,950 yuan per ton ； Retail prices in the Changzhi region have risen to 2,120 yuan per ton, with contract sales being the main driver ； The main facilities in the Lüliang area are expected to resume operation after National Day. The mainstream selling price for some companies is around 2,200 yuan per ton on an acceptance basis. The methanol market in the Hunan and Hubei regions remains stable; in Hubei, the prevailing negotiation price is 2150–2200 yuan per ton, which corresponds to the prices offered by mainstream manufacturers at the lower end of the market, while some traders quote higher prices for higher-quality products ； In the Hunan region, some negotiation prices are around 2,250–2,300 yuan per ton, with most of these quotes coming from traders in Changsha.
