After a 10-minute rush over a distance of 1,200 meters, the coal stream successfully reached the boiler’s coal hopper at 9:21. Thus, the coal supply section of the boiler in the coal storage and transportation system for the Xinlianxin Jiujiang project was successfully commissioned in one go. It took 26 months, or nearly 800 days, from the start of construction of the coal storage and transportation project in July 2018 until the coal supply section for the boilers was successfully put into operation. During that period, the team faced various objective challenges such as the pandemic, floods, and extreme heat. Without waiting for assistance, the coal storage and transportation team worked overtime alongside the other project participants to accelerate progress. Entering the installation phase, the coal storage and transportation team worked together with the installation contractor, Henan Antongli, working tirelessly day and night on the project site. This effort ensured that there was enough coal available for the boiler to operate, thus delivering a perfect result for the Jiujiang project.
