The methanol market in Henan Province is performing weakly. Local manufacturers are selling at 2,020 yuan per ton, with slightly higher transaction prices observed. Most enterprises are primarily fulfilling existing contracts. In the Luoyang area, selling prices have dropped to around 1,950–1,980 yuan per ton. Overall, market activity remains sluggish in the short term. Shanxi region: In Linfen, the reference price is around 1,920 yuan per ton; companies generally sell at that level ; In Jincheng, some contracts are based on prices of 1,920 yuan per ton or less; the pace of shipments has slowed down, and some small-scale production facilities in the area have not yet started producing products ; The retail price in Changzhi is 1,970 yuan; there isn’t much inventory pressure ; Datong contract price: 1,960 yuan per ton ; Some enterprises in Lüliang mainly focus on contract execution. Southern Shandong region: Currently, sporadic shipments by some enterprises have risen to around 2,080–2,090 yuan per ton ; Traders have raised their quotes to 2,070–2,080 yuan/ton for the panel factories and formaldehyde plants downstream in Linyi. However, due to weather conditions, gas supply restrictions have been reinstated, and the market is expected to perform weakly. The methanol market in Shaanxi province is performing moderately; the prevailing selling price in this region ranges between 1,900 and 1,960 yuan per ton. Sales are at a moderate level, and new prices in northern Shaanxi are yet to be determined ; In Inner Mongolia, the price is 1,900–1,930 yuan per ton for some products; the new prices for others have not yet been announced.
