On June 10, Nengtou Group and the Coal Industry Group signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the People’s Government of Honghe Prefecture. The Coal Industry Group also signed an Investment Cooperation Agreement with the People’s Government of Kaiyuan City regarding the construction of a project for producing 500,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and related products as part of the relocation, transformation, and upgrading efforts in the chemical industry. Practical cooperation will be carried out in areas such as advancing such transformation projects, developing new energy systems, and building port facilities. This strategic cooperation and project investment are innovative efforts to further deepen government-enterprise collaboration and transform resource advantages into economic advantages. Under the agreement, the parties will establish cooperation mechanisms such as high-level coordination and oversight, dynamic management of issue lists, regular monitoring of task implementation, and feedback on progress. They will deepen their collaboration in areas such as leveraging resource advantages, optimizing resource allocation, utilizing innovation and digital technologies, and promoting industrial integration. With a focus on the overall development strategy for green energy and the energy needs associated with industrial transformation and upgrading, they will work together to advance key projects related to hydro, thermal, wind, and solar energy, as well as those related to the relocation and transformation of chemical industries. This will help create first-class green energy bases, promote the clean and efficient use of energy, and jointly explore development paths for emerging industries such as hydrogen energy and energy storage. It will also facilitate the deep integration of green energy with advanced green manufacturing industries, thereby providing strong impetus for the innovative development of the park economy, the opening up and upgrading of port economies, and the high-quality development of emerging industries in Honghe Prefecture.
