The latest price for methanol in Inner Mongolia’s northern region is 1,300–1,350 yuan per ton, payable in cash at delivery; compared to last week, the price has dropped by 30–50 yuan per ton in some cases, and sales at the new price are proceeding smoothly； No bids have been submitted for the southern route yet. The methanol market in Fujian region is declining; in some of the main storage areas, negotiations have led to a price drop of 10–20 yuan per ton, with the price now ranging around 1520–1540 yuan per ton, including taxes, at the time of delivery. Market demand is weak, some bid prices have dropped, and transactions are sluggish. The mainstream reference prices for methanol in the Anhui region have dropped by 40–50 yuan per ton, reaching 1,530–1,560 yuan per ton at the time of delivery and settlement. There is a strong bearish sentiment in the market, with most participants adopting a wait-and-see approach.
