Bidding for 600,000-ton synthetic ammonia and 800,000-ton urea project in Yanjin, Henan

Recently, Henan Jinkai Group Yanhua Chemical Co., Ltd. issued a tender for the surface works related to the urea production unit as part of its project to produce 600,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 800,000 tons of urea per year, along with the associated facilities. Construction location: Within the Yanhua Company’s factory area, to the west of Jingshiwu Road and to the south of Xinwei First Road, in the North Area of the Industrial Cluster Zone in Yanjin County, Henan Province. Scope of the bid: Groundwork such as the urea production facility, methanol storage area, loading platforms, methanol compression plant, methanol synthesis unit, fire station training ground, areas outside the sales building, as well as areas for maintenance and storage; in addition, work on road curbs within the factory area, and construction of new roads 1-1# and 14-1#. The 600,000-ton synthetic ammonia and 800,000-ton urea project in Henan Jin Kai Yan Hua is jointly invested in and constructed by Jin Neng Equipment, Aerospace Chang Zheng, and Jiangsu Vision. The total investment in the project is 4.2 billion yuan, covering an area of 945 mu. Henan Jinkai Yanhua uses coal as raw material and gasification technology in space-type furnaces to produce 100,000 tons of methanol, 600,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, and 800,000 tons of urea per year. Among them, gasification, reforming, desulfurization and decarbonization, liquid nitrogen washing, and the process deoxygenation station are supplied with gas through BOO investment by Aerospace Hydrogen Energy Company. Gas treatment units include gasification, conversion, desulfurization and decarbonization as well as liquid nitrogen washing and process deoxygenation stations. In July 2022, Aerospace Hydrogen Energy Company won the bid for the gas treatment system required in the construction project aimed at producing 600,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 800,000 tons of urea per year at Henan Jinkai Group’s Yanhua Chemical Co., Ltd. On January 11, Henan Jinkai Group Yanhua Chemical Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Henan Jinkai Yanhua”) held a grand ceremony for the lifting of the gasification unit’s space furnace.
