In Linyi, the price for locally sourced methanol is about 2,020 yuan per ton. There is no supply of methanol delivered via logistics at the moment. Futures prices have risen significantly, and companies have low inventory levels, which keeps their confidence strong. In the Dongying area of Shandong, the negotiated price for methanol is 1,990–2,000 yuan per ton ex-warehouse, while in the Zibo area the negotiated price ranges from 2,000 to 2,020 yuan per ton ex-warehouse. Trading activity is relatively low, and traders are approaching transactions with caution. Negotiations in the methanol market in the Hunan and Hubei regions remain stable for now. There are slight adjustments in the surrounding areas; Hubei-based companies remain stable in their quotes, with prices ranging from 1990 to 2030 yuan per ton ex-works in cash terms, while the actual delivery price is around 1950 to 1970 yuan per ton ex-works in cash terms ； Negotiations in the Hunan market remain stable, with prices around 2100–2130 yuan per ton. There are many buyers on the sidelines, with most transactions being small-scale negotiations. The prevailing selling price among major suppliers in the Fujian region for methanol has risen to 2,200 yuan per ton, with decent transaction volumes.
