The methanol market in the Dongying area of Shandong remains stable at 1,840–1,870 yuan per ton ex-warehouse in cash terms; transaction activity in the market is relatively modest. It is reported that there is a backlog of shipments, leading to lower freight costs. In central Shandong, the transaction price for methanol remains stable at 1,910–2020 yuan per ton, paid in cash upon delivery. Transaction activity is moderate, with most deals being based on previous contracts; there are few new orders. The reference quotes for the methanol market in Anhui region remain stable at 1,900–2,000 yuan per ton, ex-plant and on credit; the lower end is in Huaibei, while the higher end is in Fuyang. The recovery of traditional downstream sectors is average, with modest trading volume in the market. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is stabilizing. Hubei-based companies maintain stable quotes, with inventory levels remaining high. The reference price is 2000–2050 yuan per ton in cash terms, while the actual ex-plant price is around 1870–1900 yuan per ton in cash terms. Demand from downstream markets is weak, resulting in few actual sales transactions ; The Hunan market is showing slight consolidation; low-priced supplies from Hubei and Guanzhong are entering the market, resulting in weak actual transaction volumes. For negotiation purposes, a price range of 2050–2110 yuan per ton in cash can be used as a reference.
