Urea price trends across China on April 15 Author/Source: Yuege Agri-Materials Network Date: 2020-04-15 Clicks: 48 The mainstream urea market in China remains stable, with slight price increases in some areas. Market activity is moderate; manufacturers mainly issue orders in advance. In terms of demand, agricultural users are making purchases in a scattered manner. Rubber sheet factories and compound fertilizer producers have a decent level of production activity and place orders as needed. On the supply side, current maintenance or short shutdowns of some facilities have led to a decrease in available market stock. In terms of logistics, high-speed shipping fees may come into effect starting from May 1, and the landscape of logistics will change as a result. It is expected that the domestic urea market will remain stable in the short term, with manufacturers adjusting their prices flexibly based on their own sales performance.
