Last year, Stamikabang Company tested the use of a urea anti-caking coating (known in English as Advance Coat, abbreviated as AC) on the urea production facility of its client, Sichuan Lutianhua Co., Ltd., in order to evaluate the effectiveness of this anti-caking agent. After the testing period, the customer was satisfied with the effectiveness of the urea anti-caking agent and signed a supply contract for 60 tons. Currently, Cabang has renewed its contract with the customer and signed an annual supply contract for urea anti-caking coatings last month. This AC urea anti-caking agent was developed by Stamicarbon in collaboration with a Dutch company specializing in fertilizer coating technologies; it is a coating designed specifically for urea pellets to prevent moisture absorption and caking. Compared to the traditional anti-caking agent urea formaldehyde, the anti-hygroscopic caking effect of AC anti-caking agent is far superior to that of urea formaldehyde. For devices that use urea-formaldehyde as an anti-caking agent, AC anti-caking agent is the best alternative to urea-formaldehyde.
