Companies mainly focus on contract fulfillment, with supplies mostly sent to Shandong, Hebei, and Henan. The methanol price in the Qinghai region remains stable at 1,380 yuan per ton for cash payment upon delivery; higher prices can be negotiated in practice. The 600,000-ton methanol plant operated by Zhonghao is running at reduced capacity. Negotiations in Henan’s methanol market are on the rise. Henan-based companies have raised their quotes; the actual ex-plant price is around 1,520–1,580 yuan per ton in cash terms ； Negotiations in the Luoyang market are focusing on higher prices, with quotes ranging from 1560 to 1600 yuan per ton in cash terms. In the Anhui region, the main reference prices for methanol have risen by 5–30 yuan per ton, reaching 1730–1735 yuan per ton on an acceptance basis. Futures performance has been poor, which has put some pressure on market participants’ attitudes, leading to a strong atmosphere of caution among them. Offers for methanol in the Two Lakes region have risen, with a persistent shortage of supply. Some enterprises in Hubei have raised their quotes; negotiation prices are around 1780–1800 yuan per ton in cash ； Negotiations in the Hunan market remain at a high level; the reference price is 1,930–1,950 yuan per ton in cash terms, with small orders being closed at these higher prices. The methanol market in Fujian remains stable overall, with prices at major storage areas staying around 1,900–1,930 yuan per ton, including taxes, at the time of delivery. Morning buying activity in the Fujian market is moderate; the supply of goods available for trading is limited, which keeps spot prices high.
