“List of Winners of the 2019 Patent Awards in the Nitrogen Fertilizer and Methanol Industries Published by: Sinochem News Network Date: August 7, 2020 Clicks: 5 On August 6, the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association issued a notice to its member companies via document No. Zhongguo Xié Fa (2020) No. 043, announcing the winners of the 2019 Patent Awards in these industries; the awards were presented on the same day at the 2020 China Nitrogen Fertilizer and Methanol Technology Conference held in Weifang, Shandong. A notice from the China Nitrogen Association states that, following applications submitted by enterprises, expert evaluations, public announcements on the internet, and approval by the sixth executive council of the China Fertilizer Industry Association, a total of 5 patents were awarded the \"2019 Patent Awards for the Fertilizer and Methanol Industries\". The patent titled “High-Efficiency, Clean Dry Powder Pressurized Gasification Device and Method for Carbon-Containing Substances”, invented by Lu Zhengtao, Wang Mingkun, Jiang Congbin, and others from Aerospace Changzheng Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd., won the Special Prize in the 2019 Nitrogen Fertilizers and Methanol Industry Patent Awards. The patent titled “A Method and Device for Producing Calcium *ao Acid”, invented by Jing Hongjian, Niu Tianliang, Xing Wangying, and others from Tianji Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd., received the Second Prize in the same awards. Three other patents also won third prizes: “A Method for Producing Potassium Nitrate and Its Related System” invented by Zhang Chunsheng, Zhang Taixiang, Su Wei, and others from Tianji Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd.; “A Method for Separating Compressor Oil from Butyraldehyde” invented by Chen Qing, Hu Bo, and others from Zhangjiagang Huachang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.; and “A Method and Device for Recycling and Purifying Nitric Acid Exhaust Gases” invented by Tao Changwen, Wu Peimin, and others from Anhui Jinhé Industrial Co., Ltd. To encourage invention and creation and boost enthusiasm for technological innovation in the industry, the China Nitrogen Association recommends that the award-winning organizations provide certain rewards to the winners.
