The methanol market in Henan operated in a state of consolidation at the start of the week, with buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude and limited bargaining activity. No offers from companies in Henan at the moment; the market price in Luoyang is around 1750–1780 yuan per ton. In the Anhui region, the prevailing price of methanol decreased by 10 yuan per ton to 1,840–1,850 yuan per ton on a cash-on-delivery basis. Futures prices remained volatile, with a strong sense of caution prevailing in the market; transactions were mainly driven by essential demand. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remains stable for now, with many buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude and limited bargaining activity. Hubei enterprises offer stable prices, with a reference Leave factory price of 1900–1930 yuan per ton ; Quotations in the Hunan market range from 2,030 to 2,100 yuan per ton. In the Fujian region, trading activity in the methanol market remains sluggish. In major storage areas, prices for delivery ex-warehouse, including taxes, are hovering around 1,980–1,990 yuan per ton. There are not many inquiries from the market; most people are adopting a cautious attitude.
