There are no new prices in the methanol market in Qinghai at present. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, the main gas-based production facilities in Qinghai are currently shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in late March 2021. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi region, has stabilized at 1,930–1970 yuan per ton, with payment made upon factory delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 2,100 yuan per ton, with payment made via bank transfer from the factory ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area remains stable at 2,080 yuan per ton, with payment made upon delivery at the factory ； There are no auctions available in the Lüliang area for now ； The prevailing transaction price in Yuncheng area has stabilized at 2,000 yuan per ton, payable upon factory delivery. The methanol market in Henan declined slightly. The bidding results for the main enterprises in Henan show a selling price of 2130–2140 yuan per ton at the factory’s cash payment point, which is 10 yuan per ton lower than the price from yesterday’s bids. All lots were sold; for other enterprises, the reference price at the factory’s cash payment point is 2150–2160 yuan per ton ； Quotations in the Luoyang market have dropped by 20 yuan per ton, to 2150–2160 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery, with transactions only for small orders. In the Anhui region, the mainstream price reference for methanol has risen by 10 yuan per ton, reaching 2310–2320 yuan per ton at the factory gate under cash-on-delivery terms. Demand has recovered somewhat compared to earlier periods, and manufacturers are offering stable pricing. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is generally on the rise. Hubei-based companies have raised their quotes; the actual price at the factory has increased by 70–80 yuan per ton, reaching 2300–2350 yuan per ton. Payments are made via bank transfer upon delivery, and sales are going well ； Quotations for the Hunan market have risen by 70–90 yuan per ton, reaching 2460–2500 yuan per ton ex-works in cash; transactions are mainly on a small-scale basis.
