Zhonghao’s 600,000-ton-per-year methanol plant powered by natural gas is operating at reduced capacity, with plans to shut it down completely by the end of the month. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has risen by 20 yuan per ton, reaching 1630–1680 yuan per ton for cash delivery ; The offline price in the Changzhi area is 1,760 yuan per ton, with cash payment upon delivery ; The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 1,740 yuan per ton, delivered in cash ; In the Lüliang area, the auction price has reached 1,640 yuan per ton, with delivery upon cash payment. Negotiations in Henan’s methanol market are weakening, with many participants adopting a wait-and-see attitude at the start of the week. Most enterprises in Henan have not provided quotes yet; a few have offered stable prices, with the actual ex-factory price being around 1,800 yuan per ton ; Negotiations in the Luoyang market are on a downward trend, with quotes ranging around 1800–1810 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Fujian remains strong; negotiations in the main storage areas are taking place at around 2,050–2,080 yuan per ton including taxes for delivery from the storage facilities. Trading activity in these areas is moderate, with limited deals being concluded.
