The filling of perlite into the cold box of the air separation unit and the liquid nitrogen storage tank, carried out by the utility project team of EnerChina, was successfully completed. On October 20, 2020, the utility project team responsible for EnerChina’s 1-million-ton methanol project successfully completed the filling process. On October 12, the perlite filling company officially arrived at the site. On October 14, the perlite filling of the cold box commenced; on October 19, this process was completed. On October 20, the perlite filling of the liquid nitrogen storage tank was also finished. A total of 77 trucks’ worth of pearlescent sand was used in this filling operation, amounting to approximately 10,200 cubic meters of pearlescent sand. In accordance with the construction plan, 24-hour operations were carried out, and the pearlescent sand installation was successfully completed through effective organization.
