The waste heat generator sets at Yan’an Energy Chemical Company successfully passed the full-load performance tests. Author/Source: Yan’an Petroleum Yan’an Energy Chemical Micro-News. Date: October 20, 2020. Clicks: 100. On October 15, both waste heat generator sets at Yan’an Energy Chemical Company completed 72+24 hours of full-load operation successfully, thus passing the full-load performance tests. The full-load performance test involves 72 hours of continuous full-load operation; once it is confirmed that the unit is functioning properly, another 24 hours of full-load operation is carried out to verify whether the generator’s output capacity and efficiency meet the design specifications, to determine various economic indicators related to the equipment, and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the unit’s thermal characteristics and performance. This provides a more solid scientific and technical basis for ensuring the safe, economical, and reliable operation of the unit. To date, the two generator sets have been operating properly, generating a total of 440 million kWh of electricity, which represents 85% of the annual target of 520 million kWh. The Electrical and Instrumentation Center will continue to adhere to the overall principle of \"unchanged goals, unchanged tasks, and unrelaxed standards.\" By staying focused on their responsibilities and working hard, they will strive to exceed the annual power generation targets, thereby contributing to the company’s efforts to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
