The foundation of the ammonia synthesis tower is located on the south side of the equipment area in the ammonia synthesis section, with the platform height being nearly 10 meters. The total height of the synthesis tower’s shell is 27 meters, its outer diameter is 2.41 meters, the wall thickness is 142 millimeters, and its total weight is 265 tons. The project team used one 400-ton crawler crane as the main lifting device, in combination with two 300-ton truck cranes, to carry out the lifting operations in a meticulous, scientific, and orderly manner. The successful lifting of the core equipment this time has created the conditions for the project to start operations on schedule.
