The market price of methanol in Qinghai region is currently unavailable. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. The methanol market in Henan saw slight consolidation, while the futures market experienced strong gains, leading to a slight improvement in market trading activity. Henan-based companies have made slight reductions in their quotes; the actual ex-factory price is around 2,020–2,050 yuan per ton ； The quotation for the Luoyang market is around 2,020–2,050 yuan per ton. In the Anhui region, the mainstream reference price for methanol has risen by 10 yuan per ton, reaching 2200–2220 yuan per ton for delivery on credit. Futures prices are rising strongly, and manufacturers are offering stable pricing, yet demand support remains limited. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remains stable for now, with moderate trading activity. Hubei-based companies offer stable prices, with a reference Out of factory price of 2160–2200 yuan per ton ； Quotations in the Hunan market remain stable; negotiations can refer to 2,300 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Fujian region is on the rise; prices at major storage areas have increased by 20 yuan per ton, reaching around 2230 yuan per ton including taxes. The trading atmosphere in these areas is active, with an increase in inquiries and solid sales performance.
