Sinochem Ninth Construction won the bid for the project to build additional furnaces for coal pulverization pressurized gasification at Henan Jinmei Tianqing Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. The bid price was 12.831802 million yuan. Henan Jinmei Tianqing Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. currently has 6 coal gasification furnaces under pressure. The original design called for 5 furnaces in operation with 1 as a backup, but based on several years of operational experience, the operating cycle of each individual furnace is too short; therefore, this setup of 5 furnaces in operation and 1 as a backup cannot meet the production requirements. To address the regular maintenance of the gasification furnace in Tianqing Company’s gasification unit, reduce the number of unplanned shutdowns, eliminate safety and environmental risks during operation, ensure the \"stable, continuous, efficient, and optimal\" operation of the entire system, lower operational costs, and improve the efficiency of the company’s facilities, it is planned to implement a project for preparing a backup furnace for coal pulverization pressurized gasification. Henan Jinmei Tianqing Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Jinmei Tianqing Company) is a large state-owned modern coal chemical enterprise under the Jinmei Group. It was established on June 8, 2010, in Qinyang City, Henan Province, with a registered capital of 500 million RMB. The first phase of the project covers an area of 1,000 mu, with a total investment of 3.8 billion yuan. Utilizing the abundant 15# coal supplied by Jinmei Group as raw material, it will involve the construction of a coal chemical production facility capable of producing 180,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 300,000 tons of urea, and 500 million cubic meters of waste gas that can be recycled. Additionally, facilities such as dedicated railway lines, back-pressure power generation systems, gas pipelines, and residential areas for employees will also be built as part of this project. The production process of this project employs advanced domestic and international technologies such as pressure swing gasification in Ruhr-type reactors, low-temperature methanol washing, liquid nitrogen washing, Casali low-pressure synthesis, and CO2 stripping, along with a full-scale DCS computer control system. Once this new coal pulverization pressurized gasification auxiliary unit is completed, it will ensure the long-term, safe, and stable operation of the gasification facility, enabling the existing plant’s production capacity to reach 100%.
