In the Shenyang area, the price stays steady at 2,050–2,070 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse. Traders decide when to sell based on their own circumstances, while downstream buyers make purchases according to their needs. In Linfen, Shanxi, the prevailing transaction price remains stable at 1,940 yuan per ton on a spot cash basis for ex-works delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 2,020 yuan per ton, with cash payment at delivery ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 1,900 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash. The methanol market in Henan saw an overall price increase; trading remained stagnant, with only moderate transaction volume. Quotations from Henan-based enterprises have risen; the actual ex-plant price is around 2,020–2,030 yuan per ton ； Quotations in the Luoyang market have risen to around 2030. In the Anhui region, the prevailing reference price for methanol has risen by 20–90 yuan per ton, now standing at 2,130–2,220 yuan per ton on a cash-on-delivery basis. Prices are lower in Huaibei. With futures prices showing a strong upward trend, producers are maintaining higher quotation levels; currently, transactions are mainly driven by essential demand. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region saw a slight increase, with sluggish trading and average transaction volumes. Hubei-based enterprises offer stable prices; the actual ex-factory price is around 2140–2180 yuan per ton, while prices in the trading market are approximately 2190–2200 yuan per ton ； Negotiated prices in the Hunan market have risen to 2,340–2,360 yuan per ton. Currently, there is no market price for methanol in the Qinghai region. Due to winter gas supply restrictions, all major gas-based methanol production facilities in Qinghai are currently shut down for maintenance. Production is expected to resume in March 2021. The methanol market in Fujian region is on the rise; spot prices at major storage areas have increased by 40–70 yuan per ton, reaching around 2350–2400 yuan per ton including taxes. There is a wide range of spot prices within this region, and trading activity is limited.
