In accordance with the unified arrangements of the group company, Baipo Zhengyuan started to reduce its operations at 19:00 on June 24, marking the official commencement of the comprehensive maintenance of its production systems for 2021. This maintenance effort is aimed at eliminating the bottlenecks that affect the long-term, safe, environmentally friendly, and stable operation of the facility, as well as at addressing various potential hazards and carrying out related technical improvement projects. To implement the annual maintenance plan, the Technical Operations Department held several meetings to discuss the matter and made thorough preparations, starting the preparation work for the maintenance at the beginning of May. Regular preparatory meetings for maintenance work are held to conduct thorough discussions and exchanges on issues such as start-up and shutdown plans, maintenance tasks, technical improvement projects, preparation of maintenance materials and tools, as well as arrangements regarding maintenance quality and schedule and the use of external contractors. The plans are carefully studied and deployed in a scientific and rational manner. The duration of this annual maintenance is expected to be 20 days. The main maintenance tasks include: maintenance of the flue gas desulfurization tower ； 2# Transformation Maintenance – Catalysts for Sections 1 and 2 ； Isolation of 4M20 compressor and 2# decarburization system ； 3# Decarburization maintenance: replacement of converter flag cooling radiator and carbon propylene liquid cooling radiator ； Replace the first and second urine buffer tanks as well as the second urine-secondary vapor separator; repair the first and second urine secondary pre-coolers ； Replacing the catalyst with hydrogen peroxide, etc. 1. Strict ticketing system: Prioritize safety and environmental protection. Safety and environmental protection are crucial for the survival of a company; Boipo Zhengyuan has repeatedly emphasized the need to strengthen awareness in these areas and to ensure that maintenance work is carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. To ensure that this maintenance operation is carried out safely and without any environmental incidents, Baipo Zhengyuan attaches great importance to safety and environmental protection measures during the maintenance period. It requires all workshops to strictly follow the equipment maintenance procedures, to implement the ticketing management system rigorously, and to adhere to the water discharge reporting system; in particular, when the plant is shut down or equipment is washed and replaced, all water must be recycled. In addition, during periods of shutdown and restart, close attention must be paid to the emission indicators of smoke and gases, especially parameters such as sulfur oxides and dust in the gases emitted by waste heat boilers, as well as those from desulfurization and denitrification systems, to ensure that emissions meet the required standards. 2 Unify thinking and understanding to ensure quality and efficiency. To further unify thoughts, enhance understanding, and standardize operations, Baipo Zhengyuan organized a mobilization meeting for the maintenance work, emphasizing all the preparatory measures needed for such work. The goal is to achieve maintenance that is \"safe, environmentally friendly, of high quality, efficient, cost-effective, civilized, and timely.\" All tasks during the maintenance period must be carried out carefully and thoroughly, so as to ensure that the processes of shutdown, maintenance, and restart are successful on the first attempt, thereby providing a solid guarantee for the safe, environmentally friendly, stable, and efficient operation of the facility. Currently, the market situation for various products is improving. To complete the maintenance work as quickly as possible, Baipo Zhengyuan requires that a comprehensive, accurate, and detailed list of the maintenance tasks be prepared prior to commencement of the work. Strict control must be exercised over the quality of equipment procurement and maintenance; each workshop is responsible for verifying, step by step, the material composition, dimensions, and performance of the equipment purchased ； The person in charge of the maintenance work must exercise strict oversight, especially for key projects and facilities; a quality confirmation form should be filled out to ensure that the maintenance is completed successfully, thereby avoiding rework and guaranteeing high quality and efficiency in the maintenance work. 3. Precise management to ensure maintenance quality: The hydrogen peroxide unit is the first to be shut down. The personnel responsible for instrument maintenance disassemble and inspect all the level gauges in this unit. Before starting these inspections, the team leader gives a pre-shift speech to remind everyone to pay attention to safety and abide by the maintenance rules and regulations, serving as a reminder before beginning the work During this inspection of the level gauge, the focus was on checking whether there was any dirt at the connections between the gauge and the equipment, as such dirt could affect the accuracy of measurements. It was also checked whether the components were corroded, worn, deformed, or leaking; those in poor condition were replaced in advance. It ensures the measurement accuracy of various level gauges after the device is in operation, thereby enhancing the stability of the system. 4 Safety first: Ensure stable power supply. The heatwaves caused by high temperatures* sweep across the country, and it is a season when power system failures occur frequently. To avoid dangers during maintenance work, despite the scorching heat, each repair electrician wears a safety helmet, long-sleeved and long-pant work clothes, insulated gloves, and thick insulated shoes; they wear all necessary protective equipment to ensure the safety of the employees. To ensure the stable operation of the entire plant’s power system, electrical maintenance technicians in the Electrical and Instrumentation Workshop carry out inspections on equipment that has been in use for a long time within the 35KV distribution room, as well as on circuits that may have aging defects Among these issues, due to the aging condition of the circuit breaker in the outlet cabinet for the urea cycle water system, maintenance electricians replaced it to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment, thereby further guaranteeing the stable functioning of the power supply system for the urea cycle water system! 5 Timely and accurate supply of materials: At the start of the maintenance work, the materials management system goes all out to ensure that everything is prepared in advance, guaranteeing that the necessary maintenance materials are supplied in the right quantity and on time. The logistics department overcame the challenges of tight deadlines and heavy workloads; based on the material plans submitted by the workshops, it communicated with the headquarters’ materials department to approve those plans in a timely manner. On the other hand, we closely monitored key materials required for the maintenance work, and assisted the workshop in delivering these materials to the site in advance, thereby ensuring the smooth progress of the maintenance operations.
