The methanol price in the Shandong alliance has been raised by 50 yuan per ton, to 2,850 yuan per ton for cash payment at the factory. The plants with capacities of 250,000+250,000+250,000 tons per year are operating at reduced capacity, with a daily production of 280 tons. The price of methanol produced by Yizhou Technology remains stable at 2,850 yuan per ton, with payments made at the factory. The methanol production facility that uses coke oven gas at a capacity of 150,000+150,000 tons per year is operating steadily, producing around 800 tons per day. Lianhong Chemical (formerly Xinneng Phoenix) has no new price for methanol at the moment; its 460,000+460,000 tons per year coal-based methanol production facility is operating steadily, with a daily output of around 2,980 tons, which is mainly supplied to Lianhong New Materials’ MTO facility for use in production. Shandong Rongxin Methanol is not providing quotes for the time being; its 250,000 tons per year methanol production facility powered by coke oven gas is operating at reduced capacity. Yankuang Guohong has raised the price of methanol by 60 yuan per ton, to 2,820 yuan per ton for cash payment at the factory. Its 640,000-ton-per-year coal-based methanol production facility operates with three reactors, producing around 2,100 tons per day.
