On May 10, urea prices in China continued to rise, with mainstream quotes increasing by 50 yuan per ton, while in some areas prices rose by around 100 yuan per ton. At present, the ex-factory price in major markets has exceeded 3,200 yuan per ton. Recently, a domestic fertilizer company stated that given the current high level of demand for international fertilizers, the company will export fertilizers to generate profits, in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and procedures. According to preliminary figures from China’s customs, in April China exported 1.742 million tons of various fertilizers, with an export value of $774 million. From January to April 2022, China exported 5.897 million tons of various fertilizers, a decrease of 35.8% on a year-on-year basis ； The export value was 2.562 billion US dollars, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.4%.
