Dear everyone: Those who use space furnaces, I have a question – why is nitrogen used as the protective gas for the burners in space furnaces instead of carbon dioxide (our factory has an abundance of carbon dioxide). I would appreciate your guidance on this
Can gaseous carbon dioxide corrode steel?
It should be producing nitrogen through air separation in the early stage
1. The system is equipped only with nitrogen, not carbon dioxide； 2. Whether carbon dioxide is involved in the reaction or affects subsequent production.
