The difference between MeOH and CH3OH

In the process description, there is a list of components; here MeOH is used. I’m not sure what the difference is between using this notation and using CH3OH
Both MeOH and CH3OH are methanol
The codes replacing CH3 are all methanol
There is no essential difference. MeOH is generally more common in notations that include chemical structure formulas, as Me is an abbreviation for Methyl, which indicates that methanol is composed of a methyl group and a hydroxyl group. The notation for CH3OH is in the form of a molecular formula, which emphasizes stoichiometric representation, as it shows the composition of all elements in each methanol molecule.
