The specifications of the liquid ammonia tank are 3200*8140*30. What is the volume of this tank in cubic meters? Thank you

The height of a standard elliptical head, that is, the length of the short semi-axis, is 1/2 of the length of the long semi-axis (the equipment radius, inner diameter); 1600/2 = 800 (inner). The elliptical head also has a straight edge height, which is usually 40; the straight edge height of the two heads at each end is therefore 80 mm. After talking so much, what they really want to know is how to allocate the 8140 The diameter is 3200 mm, the height of the end caps is 800 mm; adding 80 mm for each of the straight edges on both ends gives 1680 mm in total. 8140 – 1680 = 6460. After subtracting the wall thickness of 30 mm per side, that is 60 mm in total, we get 6400 mm. The length of a horizontal storage tank is often equal to the length of its cylinder, such as the common values of 6 meters or 7 meters. 6.4 meters is a relatively round figure and is credible. The total marked length should include the height of the head and the wall thickness of the head. ————————I have something to attend to; I’ll get back to this later. I’m leaving for a while and will edit it again once I return. For example, assuming the length of the cylinder part of this tank is 6.4 meters, and adding the 80 millimeters in height of the straight sides of the two elliptical end caps, the height of the cylinder used in the calculations is 6.48 meters. Using the formula πR2*6.08, the corresponding volume is 52.11 cubic meters. The volume of the end caps at both ends of a standard ellipse, without considering the height of the straight sides, is given by V = (2/3)πR3; this equals 8.57 cubic meters. The total volume is 60.68, which is approximately 60 cubic meters (in some cases there is a liquid pocket at the bottom of the liquid ammonia storage tank; the volume of this pocket is not taken into account here).
