Some standard covers have a “hydrocarbon” label attached to them – what is the special meaning of this?

The predecessor of Sinopec Press was the Hydrocarbon Processing Publishing House; I assume that including this indication is meant to let some readers know that this book or publication was originally edited and published by the Hydrocarbon Processing Publishing House. Nowadays, Sinopec Press does not enjoy the same reputation as that former publishing house. Many old books on oil processing, hydrocarbon chemistry, and hydrocarbon derivatives were edited and published by the Hydrocarbon Processing Publishing House.
