Liquefaction of ammonia

I read in the information that ammonia can be easily liquefied by applying pressure at room temperature. Since there is an ammonia compressor in the stripping unit, wouldn’t it be easy for ammonia to be compressed and liquefied inside that compressor?
Inside the compressor, although ammonia is compressed, its temperature also rises, so it remains in gaseous form. To liquefy it, a cooler needs to be added at the compressor outlet to cool it down and cause it to liquefy.
