A box is a complete rectangular or polygonal container made of metal, wood, plywood, recycled wood, fiberboard, plastic, or other suitable materials. 2. A barrel is a cylindrical container with flat or convex ends, made of metal, fiberboard, plastic, plywood, or other suitable materials. This definition also includes containers of other shapes, such as containers with conical necks or pail-shaped containers. 3. A bag is a flexible container made of paper, plastic film, textiles, woven materials, or other suitable materials. 4. A metal or plastic container with a rectangular or polygonal cross-section. 5. Light-duty standard metal containers have circular, oval, rectangular, or polygonal cross-sections; the barrel part tapers conically, with a wall thickness of less than 0.5 mm. They have a flat or curved bottom with one or more holes, and are made of metal in the form of conical-necked containers or handle-equipped containers. 6. A container is a closed device used to hold and contain substances or items, including sealing mechanisms. 7. A container refers to one or more receptacles, as well as other components or materials required by those receptacles to fulfill their storage function. 8. The finished products resulting from the packaging process, including the containers ready for shipment and their contents. 9. A outer container is required to transport the inner container. 10. An internal container is a container that requires an external container in order to function as one. 11. The outer container is the external protective device for composite or combined containers, together with the absorbent materials, linings, and other components required to hold and protect the inner container or contents. 12. A combination container is a set of containers assembled for transportation purposes, consisting of one or more inner containers fixed within an outer container. 13. A composite container is a container consisting of an outer container and an inner container, whose construction enables the inner and outer containers to form a complete container. Once assembled, this container becomes a single, complete unit designed for loading, storage, transportation, and unloading. 14. Collective packaging is the type of packaging used to combine one or more packages together to form a single unit, thereby facilitating loading, unloading, and storage during transportation. 15. A rescue container is a special container used to hold damaged, defective, leaking, or non-compliant packaging for hazardous goods, as well as hazardous goods that have spilled or leaked. 16. A sealing device is a device used to close the opening of a container. 17. Containers that prevent leakage of dry materials, including containers that keep fine solid substances generated during transportation from escaping. 18. A liquid-sealing joint, also known as an effective seal, refers to a seal that is impermeable to liquids. 22. A gas-tight seal that is impermeable to vapor. 23. Performance testing involves conducting type tests on the container under various transportation conditions, in order to determine whether the container’s design and performance match those of the designated model and comply with relevant regulations. 24. After placing dangerous goods in identification containers, the packaging is inspected to determine whether the use of the containers complies with relevant regulations. 25. The UN number is a 4-digit Arabic numeral code established by the United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, used to identify a substance or a category of specific substances. 26. The term ‘limited quantity’, also known as a limit, refers to the maximum amount that may be contained in each inner container or item carrying the relevant substance, as specified in Revision 15 of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Model Regulations, and Chapter 4 of the International Agreement concerning the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road (2006 edition).
